Torpedo Wreck Local Koh Tao Wreck Dive Site We were very excited in our early wreck-hunting days to hear about a 'Torpedo Wreck'. I imagined all sorts of fantastic military vessels. When we finally got through all the in-accurate fisherman's marks and descended on to the wreck, indeed the holds were full of large torpedo shaped objects. As we reached them, however, they turned out to be sharpened hard wood piles! She lies in 55m, an easy day trip from Koh Tao, some penetration, and a good warm-up technical dive.
